Situated in the South West corner of Scotland, in the Royal Burgh of Whithorn, Mike and Linda have run this local newsagents since 1986.

You can find us on the main thorough fare at No. 9 George Street DG8 8NS.

We are not only a newsagents, we also sell SECOND HAND BOOKS, WHOLEFOODS, FISHING TACKLE and LOCALLY MADE WILLOW BASKETS.

NEWSAGENT
As well as daily newspapers we stock all the local papers and a wide range of magazines (impressive we are told for a local shop). A good range of greeting cards ,picture postcards, soft drinks, crisps and confectionery are also stocked.

SECOND HAND BOOKS
We have a good range of paper back novels ideal for holiday reading, but we also have a selection of other books including some collectable items and childrens books.

WHOLEFOODS
We have a small section of wholefoods such as dried fruits, herbs, spices, bread flours, pulses and soya milk etc.

FISHING TACKLE
To help you make the most of our splendid coastline and its opportunities for sea fishing we stock a range of rods, reels, hooks, lures etc.

WILLOW BASKETS
Our local basket maker Graham Glanville supplies us with sturdy traditional willow baskets that will provide years of service. From Fruit baskets and shoppers to large log baskets.
