Whithorn is unique in the fact that it has an unbroken tradition as an church centre – over 1600 years in fact. From Monday next week local churches will come together in a project to hold a simple, short prayer meeting at 12noon daily in St Martin’s and St Ninian’s Church in the centre of the town. This Ninian Moment will be led each day by a local person or occasionally by a visiting church member and the hope is to welcome visitors and locals alike. More details to follow soon.
