We open from March 31st 2024 to October 31st, Sunday to Friday, 11 am to 4pm. Summer hours may be extended. Tours of the Roundhouse are at 11.30am, 1.30 or 2.30pm. Groups are by appointment – please contact us!
Your visit includes our chronological story of the development of Whithorn, the upper Gallery “Whithorn Cold Case” exhibition and special exhibition featuring the Whithorn Crozier this year, and presentations about the facial reconstructions we have created ; the ticket also includes access to the Iron Age roundhouse reconstruction via guided tour, and the Museum of early mediaeval carved stones. The crypts are currently closed to the public. All tickets are valid for one year.
The Whithorn Digital Timeline comes free with your ticket, and you can purchase before your visit or you’ll be given your code when you buy your in-person ticket. There is no extra charge for digital access.
